Betsy Martinez
Vision Therapist
Betsy Martinez joined the Vision and Learning Center in 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and previously worked as an elementary school teacher.
Betsy loves to build a rapport with every one of our patients while working towards the improvement of their visual skills. She enjoys helping patients of all ages and finds vision therapy to be very rewarding.
Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, gardening, and spending quality time with her family.
Amanda Nelson
Vision Therapist
Amanda Nelson proudly joined the Vision and Learning Center as a vision therapist early in 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Kutztown University and spent 12 years teaching high school social studies. She is a recent graduate of Arcadia University’s Master of Arts Education Program.
Amanda enjoys working as a vision therapist and helping all of our patients overcome their challenges and improve their vision. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and raising her two young sons with her husband.
